Microneedling

Creates thousands of micro-injuries in the skin to trigger the body's natural wound healing process; body thinks it's injured and creates collagen and elastin to heal itself which helps with skin texture, fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, and loss of elasticity

Drop a Hint

What is Microneedling?

Collagen induction therapy, also known as microneedling, is a great way to address signs of aging at the cellular level. This treatment excels when used for fine lines and wrinkles. Microneedling is also great for scar revisions and reducing the appearance of stretch marks.

SkinPen™ Microneedling

At Pure Aesthetics, we use the SkinPen – the only FDA-approved microneedling device on the market that also offers two ways to avoid cross contamination. As the SkinPen glides over your skin, it creates micro-point punctures. This trauma to the skin allows your body to go into its natural wound-healing mode, boosting collagen and elastin production, resulting in tighter, younger skin.

There are three phases to the wound-repair process:

  • Phase I: Inflammation. Piercing the skin triggers your immune system to disinfect the wounds, remove debris, increase blood flow and begin to create new tissue.
  • Phase II: Proliferation. The wound is rebuilt with new granulation cells, which are part of the extracellular matrix. Additionally, a new network of blood vessels develops.
  • Phase III: Remodeling. The wound is replaced with new dermal tissues and blood vessels.

Microneedling SkinPen with PRP

PRP stands for platelet rich plasma. Platelets are found in the blood and contain important growth factors that promote cell regeneration and repair. During this procedure our nurse practitioner and PRP Specialst  draws the client’s blood and centrifuges it which separates the plasma. The aesthetician then applies the PRP, also referred to as liquid gold, to the clients skin while microneedling. The platelet-rich plasma easily absorbs into the deeper layers of tissue, giving collagen production a boost. The result, overall improvement in firmness, youthfulness, fine lines and reduction in acne scars.

Microneedling SkinPen with Exosomes

What are Exosomes?
Exosomes are extracellular vesicles that are responsible for cell-to-cell communication, delivering the information and building blocks to regenerate. As we age, our skin’s ability to repair damaged cells and maintain collagen is diminished. Exosomes facilitate the exchange of mRNA and miRNA, which deliver instructions to the cells.

Pure Aesthetics offers Exovex Exosomes from Exocel Bio – Exovex is a serum of high-quality, non-lyophilized, and purified active exosomes containing a proprietary blend of precision mRNA + growth factors, peptides, cytokines, and matrix proteins formulated for regenerative aesthetics.

Benefits of Exosomes with Microneedling include:

  • Benefit in post-procedure burning
  • Enhance procedure benefits
  • Reduce the appearance of wrinkles
  • Enhance skin texture
  • Support a richer skin tone
