What a journey it has been. Ten years of transformation—starting with just me in a single room and growing into a powerful team of 17. A decade of connection, of giving back, of caring for our clients and our community. Let’s take a walk down memory lane, from where it all began to where Pure Aesthetics stands today.
In 2015, after years as a licensed aesthetician, I wanted something more. My own space. My own vision. Gainesville had plenty of clinical medspas, but I dreamed of creating something it didn’t yet offer — a results-driven experience in a serene, spa-like setting where clients could truly relax while still seeing real change in their skin and body. With a cozy treatment room, a single CoolSculpting machine, and a dream of blending science with soul, I set out to make it happen right here in Gainesville.
By 2016, I hired my very first team member. Lindsey Monaghan joined Pure with the warmth and kindness that still makes clients feel at home in her care. Nine years later, she’s still with the team, and we’re lucky to have her. With Lindsey by my side, we expanded into a two-room space—small, but filled with dreams bigger than its walls. Every new client, every treatment, and every lesson shaped our next steps.
From 2017 to 2018, our team grew from two to six. With that growth came a shift—we weren’t just offering aesthetic services anymore. We were becoming a trusted part of our clients’ lives, walking alongside them in their journeys of self-care and renewal.
In 2019, we took our biggest step yet: we built our dream home from the ground up. A 7,000 sq. ft. sanctuary, complete with two state-of-the-art operating room suites for our medical director, two CoolSculpting machines, and two Hydrafacial systems. Our new building symbolized everything my team and I built together. Trust. Care. A commitment to helping people feel their best.

That same year, we deepened our commitment to giving back, becoming a Diamond Sponsor for Lyrics for Life, an organization dedicated to fighting childhood cancer. Because beauty is more than what’s on the surface, it’s about the impact we leave behind.
In 2020, like so many small businesses, we faced the unexpected challenges of COVID-19. Through it all, we adapted. We moved to virtual consults, doubled down on safety, and leaned on each other. Somehow, we came out stronger, with our team growing to 14.
That same year, we were honored as Small Business of the Year and recognized as a Women-Owned Business by the Greater Gainesville Chamber. And through all the challenges, there were still moments of joy. Pure is a family, so we celebrated personal milestones too—many of our team members welcomed “Pure babies” into the world!
By 2021, we were finalists in the Chamber’s Leading Women’s Business category. And in 2022, I stepped into a new teaching role as an Allergan Medical Institute CoolSculpting trainer. I began mentoring other providers and sharing the Pure approach with the aesthetic community. Teaching has been a great privilege, one that reminds me why I started this journey in the first place.
By 2023, it was time for a refresh. We introduced new, innovative treatments—CoolPeel, Glo2Facial by Geneo, SkinVive by Juvéderm, and Visia Skin Analysis—continuing our promise to bring the best to our clients. With every addition came more training, more learning, and more passion for what we do.
Then, in 2024, we received an honor that meant the world: we were named as one of Florida’s Best Companies to Work For by Florida Trend. This recognition validated what we’ve always believed—a positive work environment leads to success. When our team feels supported and valued, our clients receive the best care.
And now, here we are—our tenth year. A milestone that feels both surreal and deeply rewarding. In this beautiful 10th year of Pure Aesthetics, some of our biggest achievements yet have happened:
